Ukraine Imports

Ukraine's imports fell to $6.69 billion in August 2025. This is a 9.2% decrease from July's $7.37 billion. This decline is the lowest import level in four months. The drop aligns with lower-than-expected import VAT revenue for August. While Ukraine's 2025 imports are largely for war-related needs like energy infrastructure machinery and defense, the August month-over-month decrease shows a temporary trade activity shift. Ukraine's record low imports was $1.77 billion in March 2022 and record high was $7.94 billion in December 2021.
