Ukraine Retail Sales MoM
Ukraine's retail sales month-over-month increased by 4.8% in August 2025, reaching the highest level in five months. This follows a 4.3% month-over-month rise in July 2025. Consumer sentiment improved with the overall index rising 5.2 points to 81.7. The current situation index also grew by 5.2 points to 64.5. Consumer outlook was further supported by a 4.9-point increase in the personal financial situation index to 57 and a 5.5-point rise in the feasibility of large purchases index to 71.9. Inflation in Ukraine decreased to 11.90% in September 2025 from 13.20% in August 2025. Retail sales in the first half of 2025 showed a 17% year-over-year increase, driven by major companies. Ukraine's record low retail sales month-over-month was -35.6% in March 2022 and record high was 22.2% in December 2017.
