Ukraine's poverty rate fell to 0% in 2020, down from 0.2% in 2019, according to World Bank. This represents a decrease of 0.2% from the previous year. Ukraine has the 2nd lowest poverty rate. Other bottom countries are United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Switzerland and Slovenia.

Ukraine's annual unemployment rate rose to 9.83% in 2021, up from 9.47% in 2020.
