Indonesia's Month-over-Month inflation rate was 0.21% in September 2025. This follows a -0.08% deflation in August 2025. The shift to inflation was driven by food prices particularly rice and shallots which increased in September after contributing to deflation in August. Indonesia's record low Month-over-Month inflation was -0.76% in January 2025 and record high was 8.7% in October 2005.

Indonesia's inflation rate (MoM) shows the percentage change in the consumer price index from the prior month. It is calculated by dividing the difference in CPI by the previous month's CPI. Food, housing and transport have major weights.
