Slovakia Imports
Slovakia's imports fell to €7.79 billion in August 2025. This is the lowest figure since December 2023. Imports in July 2025 were €8.23 billion. This represents a 5.4% month-over-month decrease. The decline is attributed to a year-on-year drop in industrial production earlier in 2025. Reduced automotive sector activity and weaker external demand from Germany impacted intermediate goods imports. Stabilized global energy prices also lowered import values. Slovakia's record low imports was €4.05 billion in April 2020 and record high was €10.58 billion in November 2022.
