Slovakia's month-over-month retail sales were 0% in August 2025. This is the lowest growth in three months, compared to 0.5% in July 2025. The flat sales growth occurred alongside a 4.2% year-on-year inflation rate. Month-on-month price increases were 0.1%. Some expenditure divisions saw month-on-month price declines. Slovakia's record low retail sales MoM was -9.5% in January 2021 and record high was 17.6% in March 2021.
