Spain Consumer Confidence
Spain's consumer confidence fell to 81.5 points in September 2025, a three-month low and a 1.7% decrease from August's 82.9 points. This decline coincided with a slowdown in manufacturing as the HCOB Spain Manufacturing PMI dropped to 51.5 from 54.3 month-over-month. Retail sales increased 0.4% in August but year-over-year growth slowed to 4.5% from 4.7%. Annual inflation accelerated to 2.9% in September, the highest rate in seven months. Spain's record low consumer confidence was 48.5 points in October 2020 and record high was 108.8 points in August 2017.
