Spain New Home Sales
Spain's new home sales in August 2025 fell to 10.12 thousand units, the lowest since August 2024. This marks a 25.8% decrease from July 2025 sales of 13.64 thousand units. The decline stems from a persistent supply-demand imbalance with construction output failing to keep pace with household formation and demand. High construction costs and labor shortages further constrain the ability to meet demand. Spain's record low new home sales was 4.27 thousand units in May 2020 and record high was 16.22 thousand units in October 2024.
