Spain Manufacturing PMI
Spain's Manufacturing PMI fell to 51.5 in September 2025 from 54.3 in August 2025. This represents a 5.2% decrease and is the lowest growth in three months. The slowdown stems from weaker output and new orders. New export orders declined for the first time in three months due to tariffs and political uncertainty. Employment also decreased for the first time in seven months as firms adopted a cautious approach. Spain's record low Manufacturing PMI was 44.7 in October 2022 and record high was 54.5 in October 2024.

Spain Manufacturing PMI : Definition
The Spain Manufacturing PMI from S&P Global surveys purchasing managers in Spanish factories. It gauges the health of the manufacturing sector. The index is a weighted average of five key components new orders, production, employment, supplier delivery times and inventories. A value above 50 shows growth in the sector while a value below 50 indicates contraction.
