Spain's unemployment rate rose to 10.45% in the third quarter of 2025, up from 10.29% in the second quarter. This increase occurred as the labor force grew by 178,500 people which was more than the 118,400 new jobs created. The number of unemployed individuals increased by 60,100. The unemployment rate for women reached 12.11% while the rate for men fell to 8.97%. Spain's record low unemployment rate was 4.41% in Q3 1976 and record high was 26.94% in Q1 2013.
