Egypt Exports
Egypt's exports reached $3.96 billion in August 2025. This is a 5.8% increase from July 2025's $3.74 billion. This marks the highest export value in three months. Growth is driven by strong performance in engineering exports including auto components and electrical products. Building materials, chemicals and food industries also saw significant increases. Petroleum products remain a substantial export revenue component. Egypt's record low exports was $1.37 billion in January 2016 and record high was $5.48 billion in March 2022.

Egypt exports measure the total value of goods and services sold to other countries, denominated in USD. The calculation sums the USD value of all exported commodities and services. A trade surplus occurs when exports exceed imports while a deficit arises when imports are greater.
