Egypt Inflation Rate
Egypt's inflation rate fell to 11.7% in September 2025. This is the lowest rate since March 2022, down from 12% in August 2025. The decrease results from the $8 billion IMF support package which stabilized the currency and supported reforms. The Central Bank of Egypt's monetary easing also contributed. Falling food prices and improved inflation expectations further aided the disinflationary trend. Egypt's record low inflation rate was 3.1% in October 2019 and record high was 38% in September 2023.
