France Business Confidence
France's business confidence rose to 101 points in October 2025. This is a 4.4% increase from 96.7 points in September 2025 and the highest level since March 2024. Domestic demand and export prospects are key drivers of this sentiment. Geopolitical uncertainty and rising wages continue to pose challenges even as inflation declines. The European Commission expects economic activity to slow in 2025. This deceleration is anticipated despite private consumption growth supported by real wage increases as consumer confidence remains stagnant. France's record low business confidence was 66.9 points in April 2020 and record high was 114.1 points in January 2018.
