France Services PMI

France's Services PMI decreased by 2.9% to 47.1 in October 2025. This is the lowest reading since February 2025, down from 48.5 in September 2025. Demand weakness, driven by subdued domestic economic conditions and political uncertainty, caused new orders to decline. Rising operating costs including labor, also pressured businesses. France's Services PMI was 44.4 in September 2023 and 55.0 in August 2024.

The France Services PMI from S&P Global measures the economic health of the French services sector. It is calculated from surveys asking French service firms about changes in business activity, new orders, employment and prices compared to the previous month. A score above 50 shows growth, below 50 shows contraction.
