France New Home Sales

France's new home sales fell to 15,726 units in Q2 2025 from 15,865 units in Q1 2025, a 0.9% decrease. This marks the lowest sales since Q1 2024. The decline occurred despite lower interest rates and increased housing starts. An uncertain political environment and a correction in the residential real estate market due to higher interest rates on new loans contributed to the subdued trend. The market shows signs of recovery in 2025. France's record low new home sales was 15,131 units in Q1 2024 and record high was 35,991 units in Q4 2016.
