Ireland New Home Sales

Ireland new home sales fell 15% to 973 units in August 2025 from 1,145 units in July 2025. Rising construction costs from inflation and material shortages are impacting residential project budgets. Supply chain disruptions, skilled labor shortages and bureaucratic delays in project approvals are constraining housing delivery and escalating building costs. Ireland's record low new home sales was 236 units in May 2020 and record high was 1,366 units in December 2024.
