Ireland Travel Earnings

Ireland's travel earnings fell to $4.16 billion in 2020, down from $14.81 billion in 2019, according to World Bank. This represents a decrease of 71.9% ($10.65 billion) from the previous year. Ireland has travel earnings higher than the global median ($4.16 billion vs median $677.50 million). Compared with the median in Europe, Ireland is higher ($4.16 billion vs regional median $3.89 billion) and ranks 17th out of 35 countries in Europe.

Ireland's visitor arrivals rose to 10.95 million in 2019, up from 10.93 million in 2018.
