Peru Business Confidence
Peru's business confidence rose to 55.6 points in September 2025 from 54.4 points in August 2025, a 2.2% increase. This marks the highest level since April 2019. The rise is attributed to a significant drop in inflation which ended 2024 at 2.0% and is expected to stay within the Central Bank's target. Economic activity is rebounding with GDP growth estimated at 2.9% for 2025. Strong international reserves, investments in infrastructure and mining and government efforts to attract foreign direct investment also support business sentiment. Peru's record low business confidence was 9.1 points in April 2020 and record high was 64 points in October 2017.
