Peru Imports
Peru's imports in August 2025 reached $5.1 billion, matching July 2025's $5.1 billion and showing a 0.1% increase between these months. This August figure is the highest since August 2022. The rise in imports during early 2025 was driven by a 17.3% increase in demand for raw and intermediate goods in the first two months and an 18.6% rise in capital goods imports from January to July. Peru's exports are projected to hit a record $84.3 billion for 2025, boosted by mining, agriculture and fisheries. Peru's record low imports was $2.22 billion in May 2020 and record high was $5.16 billion in August 2022.
