Peru's Month-over-Month inflation rate was 0.01% in September 2025. This follows a decrease of 0.29% in August 2025. Price pressures slowed due to falling food prices, especially fish and seafood. Transportation costs also decreased. Lower residential electricity and natural gas rates contributed to the slowdown. Peru's record low Month-over-Month inflation was -0.47% in October 2017 and record high was 1.48% in March 2022.

Peru's month-over-month inflation rate shows the percentage change in the national price level compared to the previous month. It is calculated by the INEI using the national Consumer Price Index (CPI). The rate reflects monthly price shifts in goods and services consumed nationwide.
