Australia's S&P Global Services PMI increased to 53.1 points in October 2025, up from 52.4 points in September 2025. This 1.3% rise was driven by accelerated activity in the services sector. The growth occurred despite a renewed contraction in the manufacturing sector in October. Australia's record low S&P Global Services PMI was 46 points in November 2023 and record high was 55.8 points in August 2025.

Australia Services PMI : Definition
The Australia S&P Global Services PMI measures the health of Australia's service sector. It is calculated from survey responses of about 400 service sector companies covering new orders, output, employment, suppliers delivery times and stocks of purchases. A reading above 50 indicates expansion while a reading below 50 signals contraction.
