Malaysia Balance of Trade
Malaysia's trade surplus hit 19.86 billion MYR in September 2025. This is the highest surplus since March 2025. The August 2025 surplus was 15.85 billion MYR. This represents a 25.3% increase month-over-month. The rise was driven by a 12.2% export growth. Electrical and electronic products exports were the main contributor. Imports increased by 7.3%. Malaysia's record low Balance of Trade was -4.46 billion MYR in April 2020 and record high was 31.84 billion MYR in September 2022.
