Malaysia GDP Growth Rate (YoY)

Malaysia's GDP growth rate Year-over-Year accelerated to 5.2% in Q3 2025. This is the highest rate in four quarters, up from 4.4% in Q2 2025. The expansion was driven by resilient domestic demand and recovery in key sectors. Services grew by 5.1%, manufacturing by 4.0%, mining and quarrying by 10.9% and construction by 11.2%. Government measures supported domestic consumption. Malaysia's record low GDP growth rate Year-over-Year was -16.9% in Q2 2020 and record high was 16.2% in Q2 2021.
