Malaysia Exports
Malaysia's exports in September 2025 reached 138.68 MYR billion, an increase from August 2025's 131.32 MYR billion, marking a 5.6% rise. This export growth was broad-based across sectors. Electrical and electronic products led the increase, rising by nearly RM11 billion. Machinery, equipment and parts and optical and scientific instruments also contributed significantly. The mining sector returned to growth, boosted by increased exports of metalliferous ores and metal scrap. Exports strengthened to major trading partners including ASEAN, China, the United States and the European Union. Malaysia's record low exports was 52.47 MYR billion in February 2015 and record high was 144.28 MYR billion in June 2022.
