Colombia Imports

Colombia's imports in August 2025 were $5.85 billion, a decline from $6.48 billion in July 2025, marking a 9.7% decrease month-over-month. This import reduction contributed to a widening trade deficit of $2.01 billion in August 2025. While fuel and extractive industry imports fell, manufactured goods imports increased, led by chemicals and materials. Separately, Colombia's industrial production growth slowed to 1% year-over-year in August 2025, down from 5.8% in July. Colombia's record low imports was $2.88 billion in May 2020 and record high was $7.3 billion in August 2022.
