Colombia Retail Sales YoY

Colombia's retail sales year-over-year slowed to 12.4% in August 2025 from 17.9% in July 2025. This deceleration occurred as inflation rose to 5.1% in August mainly due to food prices. Consumer confidence also dropped to -2.4% in August from 5.3% in July. This decline in confidence negatively impacted the purchase of durable goods and vehicles.
